What if i'v made an erotic game and want to post it in the "Released Projects" forum?

I’m with you.

The reason is that the cultural climate in the US (where EPIC is based) is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from the cultural climate in Europe or South America.
It’s hard to understand just how different they are, unless you’ve lived in both places (which I have.)

My guess is that this can be traced back to the US being settled by Puritans in the 1600s …

If it were my game, I would take the word “promote” to be the key.
If a user asked me on the forums for my game whether I used Unreal Engine or not, I wouldn’t think it would be bad to answer “yes.”
Meanwhile, if I made a YouTube trailer, or was asked by a reporter, or made a press release, or did some other “promotion-like” activity, I would not put the two together.
Your interpretation and risk profile may be different.

Man that suck, but I have to agree with you. The thing is UE4 not just the engine but the brand name would have help me. The game I’m trying to make are called eroges. Half to majority of them or terrible to average. Made by Rpg maker and Unity3d. Unlike Unity3d UE4 don’t have a Polycount limit,it open source and it powerful. Plus The brand will atleast can help separate from other Eroge Developer which will help me generate revenue.
