As the question states, it seems functionality has went missing with preview 1 of UE5. When trying to load and unload world data layers in the level BP, I can only get or set the RUNTIME state of a data layer. Nor can I access the actors applied to a data layer. Is there any way around this issue currently? After reading the documentation, most of those ‘actions’ seem to be missing.

I have the exact same problem. Without being able to dynamically control when they activate, they are a massive PATA and have lost the functionality that made them most valuable. I’m large into the rendering and environmental side of things, and Epic having delivered everything from emissive area lighting to mirror translucent reflections is absolutely amazing. That being said, I do think parts of the UI and data managment stack will need some updates before UE5 will be as fluid as they will like. It’s like having a supercar engine with a stick shift-just a little too clunky for all the raw power.
Not tested entirely but we are using its BP functions and works as it should, so seems to be fixed.
