One of the settings under the lighting menu is "ambient". At first, I thought it was an ambient occlusion setting, but it seems odd to me.
Can anyone tell me what exactly what this setting does? And what is value (from 0 to 2) means?

Hello ,
Thank you for posting your question in the community. The Ambient lighting is sometimes referenced as general lighting, increasing it brings more general light and decreasing it reduces it, this is most apparent in the shaded areas/faces where there is no direct lights. The values is a scale to set the value to and .75 being the default. Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Vincent B.
Got it! Thanks for the answer.
