I can’t play either. I need some kind of stupid graphic card. Like seriously. I don’t care about the graphics. There’s got to be a way to get rid of that message so I can play.
Do you know if it is possible to run Fortnite(a UE project) on a mac with os high sierra but without a metal supporting hardware?
I heard of running the program with -opengl argumen, could you please explain?
Hi , i already find DefaultEngine.ini but i don´t know how to put the code “r.Mac.OpenGLDisabled=0”
Can you explain with details how to put the code please?
Thanks and regards! Arthur.
I have mac high os sierra and am running 10.13.4 but I still have the graphic metal card isssue
I have been trying to solve this issue for ages and the result isn’t great-
If your Mac is before 2012 you wont have metal compatible graphics… so you cant play Fortnite
oh i play on xbox and wad trying to switch to mac : )
Basically you all have to throw your computers away
if the GPU is not “metal” compatable.
That or not use unreal engine… oh and none of your existing customer base either.

Thank you
it’s probably because their mac is older than 2012 and only the macs made after 2012 are compatible with the metal compatible graphics card
where do you find it
You will installer unreal v.4.2
