I can see both types myself, white/gold for the most part though. If I stare at a white background for a bit I will see blue/gold, I can’t seem to see the black part personally.

It actually says something about how you perceive an image from what I have read. If you see white/gold you are more receptive to how light factors into an image, if you see blue/black your brain doesn’t take the lighting into account.

Nothing wrong with either way, just how your brain processes light. :slight_smile:

Ive seen different results
from different pics of the same **** dresss, and even the SAME picture on one of my 2 monitors(right is white, left is blue). The dress is RIGHT at the middle, so depending on the brightness it will look one way or the other, but its definitely odd as hell.

It is Black and Blue. It was confirmed by a german scientist yesterday and they showed the designer of dress wearing it (she has many other colours of it too). We infography experts, can’t fall in that trap since we are used to different lighting conditions:

I really don’t know how such stupid thing made a big buzz in the media . The one who made such fake photo is just provocating us. is an insult to us 3D experts :mad:

When I first saw it the other day it was blue and black, I turn off the lights for some reason and I notice it changed from blue/black to white/gold. Turned on the lights, it was white/gold still - looked away and then back and it was back to blue/black! Needless to say I freaked out. =P
