Yeah, this can happen from time to time, it’s quite annoying. Test by resetting your current layout, at Window > Load Layout > Default:
If the issue persists, there could be something wrong with the engine’s install. Go to UE’s directory, and clear the engine’s cache, via deleting folders Intermediate and Saved, then open back the engine. If it’s still there, close it, go to Epic’s launcher, right click your install, and select “Verify”·
Also, make sure your system is using the latest GPU drivers. If you are on nVidia, I would suggest a clean install, and selecting Developer drivers, as those are the most stable for engine work.
Finallly, and this one happens more often than you would expect, check for any active overlays in your PC, like XBOX Game Bar, or Discord’s overlay. This last one in particular is quite nasty since it’s latest update. Hope this helps, and good luck!
