I used this 1600x152 image and placed it on a plane to create a backdrop for my project, but I’m having a weird line on the top of the plane which is present in all the instances. I’m unable to remove it.
As of now, I’ve tried:
-Adjusting the UVs to move it further upwards. Has no effect on the line.
-Took the plane into Blender and applied the transforms so the long stretched out plane has 1,1,1 scale.
-Cropped the backdrop image at the top and bottom a bit but that only changed the color of the line, which I think is because the line is somewhat taking texture from the bottom of the image since there’s nothing at the top. I’ve attached the png. Also, I don’t get this kind of issue when using any other texture.
I think it’s the editor grid?

Nope it’s some weird line being drawn on top of the texture which is being taken from the bottom. Funny thing is I even tried to pan the texture upwards to try and mitigate it and it still didn’t go away. Eventually I ended up creating a transparent line at the bottom and that got rid of this top line. Not sure what’s causing this issue but I just mitigated it by ensuring there’s no texture to replicate at the bottom
If your texture doesn’t fill the 0-1 area, you can use

This could be a solution. I haven’t tested it since I’ve already solved this using an unconventional method but if the issue pops up again, I’ll try this too. Thanks! <3
