Weird Edge on Pre-keyed Footage on Translucent Material Plane

Am trying to bring in my pre-keyed footage shot on a green screen into unreal engine for compositing. The footage is on a plane with a translucent material and the problem is that the semi-translucent pixels from the key-ed footage is causing a weird edge in UE5.

As you can see, the edges with the semi-translucent (grey) pixels are bringing the background 100% in focus causing a weird looking edge around the subject.

I have output velocity turned on so that I could get DoF with my cine cam.

Am using the latest UE5.0.2.
