Weird dark squares in realistic rendering scene?

while in simulate or game play I get these weird dark patches around my screen depending on where I look in the room in the realistic rendering project. (this is the bug)

but on a side note, the effects cave just looks hectic and blurry like the realistic light effects don’t blend well with the low resolution sprites and chunky geometry even though there is high detail on them. could this be my graphics card settings? or maybe my preferences in the editor? I have a Geforce GTX 580 with 12 GB of ram and an Intel i7 processor on a 64 bit OS. do I need a better graphics card?

I just updated my driver and it fixed it . . . nvm noob mistake

I also fixed the quality of the effects cave and everything else I load for that matter, by switching my lighting quality settings to max . . . once again a noob mistake
