I have a problem with poping up chat window which looks bugged because it also has black transparent overlay as big as my EGS window.
It pops up randomly - can’t tell you if it does this only when I play games from epic’s luncher or work on unreal engine. It might be like that.
As far as I remember I had simillar problem days before but it was little different. Few months ago I couldn’t click or make selection on big portion on center of my desktop. It was like previously mentioned window pops up but it was fully transparent and I didn’t see anything. Closing EGS from tray or task menager was helping.
Hope you will figure out what cause this problem, because it bothers me when I play Fortnite so my cursor loosing focus on game (even when I play Fullscreen exclusive).
