For some unfathomable reason, there appears to be a blanket ban across the entire unrealengine.com for allowing the use of the Full-screen button in embedded Youtube videos.
It might seem like nitpicking, but I find it impossible to watch them in such a tiny box, and if I have to open a separate Youtube window, then I’ll inevitably get sucked into the endless sea of recommended videos and never get any work done!
Since every other site I use doesn’t have this problem, and I can’t imagine any justifiable reason for this, it must be a bug. right? an under-sight of the web team maybe?
…If this is not an accurate reproduction of the issue you are experiencing, please list repro steps as I have done here. Also, what web browser are you using?
Please provide this information and we will continue to investigate.
Hmm ok, I am now learning that it may just be the forum, and never realised because I must only see vids in the forum. though this is mindblowing to the point that I feel I might be forgetting somewhere important.
But anyway, the forum has this limitation for sure and I guess that’s where (in my case at least) the most-watched videos are, like this thread:

If you need to see the video in full screen, you can work around this by clicking the “YouTube” logo at the bottom of the embedded video screen to watch on YouTube. At that point you can watch the Video in Full screen mode.
I did some more digging and found the solution! your webteam just needs to add the allowfullscreen option to the embed code that controls youtube vids.
I’ve entered a Feature Request to the team that runs the . Since we use vBulletin Software to run our , it may come down the limitations (legal or otherwise) whether or not this feature gets implemented.
