I was wondering if anyone could help me with a system I’m trying to place.
It’s an open world game (level streaming), and i’m hoping to have it so different areas would have different weathers and temperatures. (Ex. Northern areas would be cold, and snowing, while southern would be warmer and rainy)
I guess like different biomes?
I’m not sure where to even begin with this, as all I can’t find anything online.
Any help would be appreciated.
This is something that Post Process Volume might help you with. I’ve seen some people use it for cold, rainy, or heat effects with it, along with post process material.
Plus, if you design your levels right, you can have multiple post process volume so that when players enter different ones, the game uses different post process.
