Weapon Slots

Hi there! I’m recent to game development and I am currently working on a Top Down Shooter. So far I need help on creating Two weapon slots that the player can switch from by pressing 1 and 2. More specifically is what variables are needed in the player blueprint would I need to use?

By weapon slots, are you referring to changing the weapon on the model? Switching weapon mechanics used for each weapon? Some combination of both?
