Weapon fire camera shake for top down shooter.

I’m trying to add a small camerashake to my weapons to make them feel more impactful, but I find that it’s hard to find a sweetspot between it being obnoxious but not so small it looks like a graphical issue. I’ve looked at how other games do camerashakes, but I can’t quite replicate the same feel.
Has anyone experimented with camerashakes and found decent frequency, time and amplitude settings or have any suggestions for this case?
