Ways to work more accuratly

Hey.

First of all, please forgive me if some of these settings already exist. I have been working in RC for some days now and I would love to get a more accurate way of viewing things.

  1. Is there a way to activate orthographic views so you can rotate something properly into place.

  2. Also, The bounding box for setting capture region, is there a way to get it less transparent or even change color. This way it would be easier to see if you are actually getting rid of overflowing geo.

  3. more accurate rotate gizmo. In Maya you can increase/ decrease the gizmo. The bigger the gizmo, the fewer degrees you move. Is something like this possible,or is there a step size somewhere for the gizmo when you go into super focus mode?

Not possible…

Try to play with the gizmo, as it “moves” in slight jumps… zoom out and try it that way…
But if you use the RECONSTRUCTION->INFO PANEL, then you can change the bounding box rotation, position, scale by numeric input…

Thanks! I will try this tomorrow. I will also try to use the distance tool tomorrow and see if I can get the corrrect scale as well.
All of this combined will probably make the cleanup process a bit smoother :slight_smile:
