Dropping a WaterBodyLake onto my landscape (which has default values, and Enable Layers = TRUE), the water edge is very jaggy. I’ve tinkered with all the obvious settings for the WaterBodyLake (Falloff, Blending, Waves, etc.) but nothing resolves this effect (see attached screenshot). I read through the UE docs on
this actor - nothing about this issue.
I’ve adjusted my Material Quality Levels and Engine Scalability settings - nothing.
Watched several Youtube videos on this topic and none of them have this issue.
They generate the Landscape, drop the Water Body onto it - smooth shoreline.
I trashed that level and started over from scratch - exact same problem.
(I’m running UE 5.2.1)
