Water problem

Hello, i got problem with water system in ue 5.1. I’m using heightmap 8129x8129 res for my landscape and got weird problems with lakes and rivers. Water plugin and landmass is enabled. Some SS from editor:

The water plugin should still be experimental 0.1 version so it has many problems.

  1. It has problems with worldsizes larger then 4k.
  2. The further it is from 0.0.0 the buggier it seems to get.
  3. Also make sure to click “Edit layers” before adding rivers.

The last one solved it for me, hopfully it solve your problem.

Edit layers is on. I tried pos: 0,0,0 and 0,0,100.- Doesn’t work. Resized to 4033x4033 and scaled to 200, 200, 100 doesn’t work. Reinstalling doesn’t work. Funny thing even 1009x1009 doesn’t work properly.

Have you tried with no scale on the HM. I have seen a lot of posts on discord forums that when you scale a HM it breaks the water system. Seems to work as designed on a non scaled HM only.
