Hi all. I am working in UE 4.27 and trying to make a simple river. I can create lakes and custom waters, but not rivers for some reason. I have been advised this is due to UnReal never updating the water plugin since release. (is this true?)
Two questions: 1) Is there a plugin or something that can help me create these rivers and streams?, and 2) does the plugin actually work in UE5?

There are several plugins that can help you create rivers and streams. Some popular options include the River Tool, which provides an easy way to generate rivers with realistic flow and foam, and the Waterflow plugin, which can create detailed water simulation for rivers, lakes and oceans.

I think rivers in UE 4.27 is just broken… I mean, to be honest, I haven’t actually downloaded any additional plugins yet (I’ve been trying to figure out 5.1) but I have this on the back burner for now.
