Hi, so I’ve been trying to create an ocean using the Water Plugin and some other ones. At first my character and all objects were just not being affected by the water. Like I was walking on the top like there was some invisible plane. I saw some other people say to change the collission stuff and it worked kind of. I saw some other post saying how changing the Camera and Visibility to ignore will work. However now it’s acting really weirdly. I attached some screenshots. The ones underwater is how its acting right now. Basically some angles makes it clear (No post processing is being done I think) while some work like how it should. Then I also added an image of my collision settings.
Okay, I solved it for me. So basically when opening up the Unreal Editor with the water plugin enabled i got this error message in the console. It said something about the collision and it had this little “Add to default.ini” or something like that next to it, I pressed it and restarted Unreal Engine and now when creating a new water body it automatically made it work.
