Water material problem

It appears to be more related to your Fresnel. I’d tweak the Fresnel settings a LOT until you find what gives you the look you want. There’s 2 numerical value inputs to the Fresnel - Exponent and Base Fraction. Tinker a bit with both values until you get a strong understanding of what they both do (they’re sort of inter-dependent you’ll find).

Depth Fade can also be heavily impacted by high values with Refraction as well. I’d consider turning off Refraction input temporarily to sort things out with the Depth Fade settings. This is some water I’ve done.
