Water Interaction based on Sequencer Time

Hello!

Does anybody know it it’s possible to switch the water interaction from game time to a sequencer based approach?

I already updated all my water materials and post process volumes to do just that.
Only thing missing is interaction which is still based on game time.

when sequencer is running, gamemode I assume will be running when it counts
if you render, or if you run sequencer while in game
