Water in VR, only on left eye

Hey guys!

I know this is a long shot but I’m trying to create a project that uses water… It would be really awesome if i could find a way to make it work in VR…

When in preview, the left lense sees everything ok, but the right lens sees everything scuffed… Tried disabling Instanced Stereo and messsed with mobile hdr, both being not a good way to go.

Meanwhile, I was able to replicate the water effect in a blueprint with a material looking like water and a post process effect for udner water… not ideal… but does the job… not so good as the plugin tho.

I read some stuff about transparency being not vr friendly, making it not look right in the lenses… Is there a way to remove this transparency, I can work with less realistic water, the waves and the water plugin setup is what’s needed rly…

Is there anythin I can do to make this work somehow? Or any other plugin?
Maybe even a way to make the water look good on the quest 2, having access to settings and properties the water plugin gives… all the looks, functions, effects and buoyancy,… etc.

Thanks!

Quest 2 is very picky about materials
if you have a world position offset on the water material it is going to be gnarly
quest doesn’t like wpo
The waters in the “mobile starter pack” should work
there is also an asset pack called “water planes”
that works for me
