Water/ High-Focal length problem


I am new to Unreal-Engine and want to render images for object detection.

My scene consists of a camera, waterBodyCustom, and a boat. The camera has a high focal length of 260. I encountered the problem that changing the wave parameters only changes the waves near the player. That should be due to performance reasons, am I right?

The main problem is that the camera has a very high zoom and always displays the same ocean scene. I can change the parameters of the wave, but it doesn’t affect the cinematic.

I hope anyone can help me to solve this issue.
