I’m struggling to understand how the water body system detects intersections with Landscapes. I have a landscape generated with an imported heightmap and created a water body ocean, turned off the “Affects Landscape” checkbox so I’d keep the shape of my island, but the water body stops rendering before it can touch the landmass in some places and overlaps in others.
I think it has something to do with how it detects when it’s under the landmass to save rendering power on the GPU, but it isn’t calculating it correctly and I can’t find any settings to edit it
