Water and boat physics in sequencer

Hi guys!

I am struggling to solve the issue. I have a scene with the boat on the water, and when I hit simulate button, everything goes smooth and the boat rides the waves, so it interacts with the water (physics are in place). However when it comes to sequencer, the physics obviously do not work and the boat stands still (does not interact with water), however the water itself provides for the waves constantly.

I tried the take recorder in order to copy boat transform and then paste to sequencer, however it does not match the waves as the waves generate different every time.

I would appreciate any hints in this respect, so how can I “turn the physics on” with respect to interaction between the boat and the waves in sequencer.

My ultimate target: (1) move the boat on the waves from point A to point B through transform; and (2) make this boat interact with waves in sequencer while moving from point A to point B.
