Just out of curiosity, does this happen when you first play after loading the editor. I find that on the mac, it’s not releasing memory from the previous play sessions and seems to leak. I have 64GB and I can eat it all up by trying to work all day without closing the editor often. The stalls could be that you’ve gone into swapping because of the 16GB? I started a thread on that but no other Mac users have verified that they see this also. I’m inferring that it may not be the GConfig issue that causes the stalls, but memory and threads never being released.
