Warning: External website reselling Sketchfab / Fab artists’ models without permission (deep3dsea)

Hi everyone,

I want to bring attention to a website that appears to be systematically scraping embedded Sketchfab models and reselling them commercially without authorization.

The site is:

https://deep3dsea.com/

In my case, several 3D models that I personally created and published on Sketchfab as non-downloadable portfolio content were listed there for paid download.

From what I observed, the website:

  • copies previews, author names and descriptions

  • extracts the underlying 3D files from embedded viewers

  • resells them via direct download and paid checkout

  • targets many different artists and studios

After I started filing DMCA complaints to hosting providers and payment processors, some of my models were removed, which suggests that the site reacts only to individual reports rather than proactively respecting copyright.

This may affect a large number of creators whose models were published on Sketchfab or migrated to Fab.

I strongly recommend:

  • searching your model names on Google

  • checking whether your work appears on this site

  • filing DMCA complaints if necessary

If multiple authors report abuse, hosting providers and payment services usually react faster.

I hope this helps raise awareness and protect creators’ work.
