want to stretch the material on all axis but can only do yx. And the z axis looks weird now




I dont really know what to say since im still pretty new to this and this is my first time asking for help but can i fix this while also keeping world positioning or make it better?

Hey there @twistedemavfox! Welcome to the community! In short, textures aren’t 3 dimensional, there are only actually two dimensional, thus only have a UV coordinate (corresponding to your XY in this case). Your stairs may need an adjustment to their UVs themselves. From what it looks like, you may have only taken the UV snapshot from above, so the faces perpendicular to the UV snapshot are thin or just extruded these stairs from a cube or other shape without unwrapping the UVs again.

Thanks. This is also the starter materials that are given that i have slightly edited to my need would you know of any good tutorials that can fix that stretching or tutorials on what you think may help.
