The map was built on 4.3 then upgraded to 4.5. I did not add the new tiles till after the update.
In some places on the landscape I am able to walk through what is visually seen as if the collision for that area is lower. There is also the issue with seams showing where the added tiles connect. On high and epic game settings the seams completely disappear and on medium or lower the seams are visible. I’ve tried looking through the answer hub for some guidance but I couldn’t find any answer that was relatable. Im currently using an import of the same landscape (hidden in game) as the collision is mostly properly set. I still get some areas that are higher by a bit but it seems to work for now. Any idea how to rebuild the collision to map the landscape?
I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by building the project as a whole. If it involves building the code I can pass the along to our project coder. I’m more of the models and landscape guy.
The collision is set to BlockAll. When the map was first create a heightmap was not used. I have, and do when I change the landscape, created a heightmap. Deleting the landscape then creating a map using the heightmap created does not fix it.
Edit as I was typing the top.
Actually now that I’m back in it with the settings set to epic I don’t see the collision issues. This morning I completely created my trees and just placed them using the foliage tab. Everything seems to be in they’re proper place. For good measure i pressed the build button once more. I find it strange that after one day they issue would just disappear.
