VXGI firsts test for arch viz!

I thought I read instructions on the download page to not do that, as running setupBat will overwite files needed for vxgi. I’m an idiot with source and building though.

You have to hit ‘‘N’’ (no) when asked to replace those files. It will work.

Got it up and running last night. Indeed, just say “no” on the overwrite prompt during Setup.bat. I only had time last night to test out the sample scenes, but they certainly worked well. I’m running a 980, and got decent framerates on the Sci-Fi hallway. I’ll report in more specifics soon. By the time I had it running, I was quite tired. I did toss it into my DK2 just to see, and it worked reasonably well. I’ll try to find ways to speed it up for VR, since nothing about the scene was optimized for it. There is a bug with specularGI only showing up in the right eye though… so I have to disable that when in VR. Otherwise, looked sweet! Will certainly play more and post some images/video.

    I want to use version 4.8, but don’t know which one of (2) or (03) is the right one?

Is there documentation of how to use VXGI?
Or any videos of how to, maybe?

Don’t use builds, I’m not even sure he still maintain them. I used the official nvidia build instead.

Don’t forget to “Accept Invitation” in Github once you’ve linked your Github to your Unreal account.

I tried the 4.8p3_VXGI_Flex_HW_HBAO, that was pretty cool.

I’m trying the “Nvidia Official” VXGI-4.9 now with DX12.

I do update them, just been a bit slow this time around. Just about to release my 4.9.1 build of the merged GameWorks techs. If you feel there is something that I have overlooked, or a bug with packaging, please either let me know (via PM or on Github) or submit a PR, I am happy to merge peoples changes once i have tested them.

The 4.9.1 release is very close to being released, just running into some issues with Turbulence. Hopefully knock that out in the next hour or so, and then will release. Will also clean up my Github branches so its easier to see what version people should get.
