It seems like some of the foliage LOD’s are not casting VSM’s in 5.2 from a directional light. I can’t find any settings to address this. Notice how the buildings are casting shadows but the trees at the same distance aren’t. Anyone know how I can fix this or if its a bug?
EDIT: It seems like its not working on cascaded shadowmaps either. So its an LOD issue.
It used to work but I had LOD popping. I checked the auto compute LOD’s checkbox and the popping stopped but I now have missing shadows.
