Vred 2021 to Unreal with datasmith problems

Hello,

I can’t get the Unreal Datasmith Export plugin to work with Vred 2021. I’m following the unreal online documentation.

…but I keep getting this error when start up looks for the plugin folder!

Any help much appreciated.

Can you try updating to the latest release of the engine 4.25.1. There was a python change that required an updated python exporter for 2021 that is available in the latest release.

OK, so I think I spoke too soon! Vred gets the export option but when I open Unreal 4.25.1 and install the Datasmith plugin (restart) and browse for an import file it crashes!?
