VR Zero-G Friction/Momentum Glitch

I’ve created a VR world that is set in space, I have the movement set to gripping objects to drag yourself through the world, this works for the most part because if you miss a grip you’ll just float into a wall and bounce off sending you to another direction, but for some reason hitting the floor completely stops my momentum trapping you in place, this does not happen with the ceiling or walls. I have gravity set to zero. Any help would be appreciated!
