I have seen that as well and I’m not too sure what’s causing that. I am investigating it though. Check back here for an update.

I would like to buy the VR keyboard, but I just want to know if the Enter/Return issue has been resolved or not.

Hi, is there anything special I need to get the browser to work? I’m not able to get the browser to show anything…I put both the keyboard and browser into a map, set the reference of browser to keyboard but nothing appears when I click the browser button. I tried adding text to the browser widget to confirm that I have it facing the correct way…and that it is hiding and unhiding correctly, but that widget stays empty, no browser loading.
Sounds like you need to enable the web browser widget plugin. Navigate to Edit/Plugins… and on the left hand side of the Plugins window, scroll down till you find the ‘Widget’ category. You’ll find the Web Browser plugin disabled there. Enable it and restart your project.
The enter emulation engine bug has not been fixed. Going to be filing another bug report on this issue.

Looks like this issue is coming from the engine itself. The files can be imported/migrated with no issues into any 4.17 and 4.19 project no problem, but as soon as I try in 4.18 the issue becomes apparent. I’m not sure if this can be fixed until I hear back from Epic. If possible I’d upgrade to 4.19 as a quick fix.
EDIT: I might just rebuild the whole project in 4.18 from scratch so that way there is a working version without having to worry about if Epic knows what’s going on. No ETA on this rebuild for 4.18 though.

Just uploaded an update. I refactored most of the code to make all keyboards easier to use/modify and included 4.19 support. Update includes a basic starter template keyboard and revamped custom keyboards that are based off of the starter template keyboard. New documentation to follow. Give Epic Games a few days to make the update available for download.
Can you make a version with a forward slash button under symbols? I’d assume it’s possible to go remap one, but it’s strange to not have one by default…it can bring up a web browser but you can’t use it to type any form of web addresses?

does not work in 4.24 at all. you spawn under ground, and you cant type even if you click the text box first…
What HMD are you trying to use it on? Works fine on a Oculus Rift and HTC Vive using 4.24. If you’re trying to use it on a mobile headset like Oculus Quest then that’s a different story. I do not have any of the mobile headsets and so I have no way to test them. Spawning underground can be a VR Origin problem (set in the player pawn/character) or player start actor placed incorrectly. Not being able to type has me scratching my head since clicking on it should set the focus which would enabling typing. Would need more information to be able to help figure this out.

in 4.24
load up a project made from your asset, go into any level and press play you spawn under the ground, also on one level it says that the player start has the wrong size since it is partly under the map. no matter what you do the maps can’t load you in and nothing works.
