vr swimming system (blueprint version)

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and I have a major issue with VR (specifically using Oculus Quest 2). I come from Unity, but I’m thrilled to finally be able to work with Unreal. I need to create a system for a project that simulates the behavior of a person immersed in water. The idea is that when the person moves both hands forward and backward, they will move forward, and if they stop, they will slowly descend to the bottom. Additionally, if the person moves only their right hand to the left, they should move to the right, and so on. I swear I have no idea where to start. I appreciate any help you can provide.
