How would you do something like this? Where a different set of hand signs gives you a different spell (like fireball)

I know how to spawn the projectile it’s the hand signs I need help with

@TheSceriffo So since you most likely don’t have gloves that can track your hand signs for a fireball jutsu, you’re probably going to need to create animation blueprints for the hands. Then, on whichever your desired input is, (motion tracking or buttons) then have it navigate through the input structure. I’d probably recommend keeping the hands together, but apart would allow much more room for diverse actions but would be drastically harder to code. But then, if you wanted a Rasengan at some point, all it would take would be lowering your hand for a period of time.
It’s a really cool idea though, I’d love to see updates.
I hope this can help!

Thanks! I know how to animate a single hand (like rock, scissors and papers) but how do I combine animations between hands? Like how do I get them to stick together?

@TheSceriffo, The way I can picture it happening in my head the best would be to animate both of the hands together, to eliminate the possibility of one hand not being in the correct placement or condition.
If you wanted to do them separately, you’d need to add some sort of collision to the hands in order to get them to register. You’d need a vast amount of logic to handle them separately because you would have to check for each hand’s specific sign before putting them together, which would be worth it, just more difficult / buggy.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do!

It looks like the guy in the video above set it up so that you basically grip one hand with the other (using both grip buttons at the same time) still have to figure out how to do that
