Hello, I’ve downloaded the project even on different computer with exactly the same result. I have Oculus Rift connected to the PC, with Oculus runtime 1.16. Both PCs are running Windows 10, have GTX1080 and latest nvidia drivers. I’m trying to compile a debug build of UE from github to get at least callstack. But it appears it can crash GPU grivers, as the screen sometimes goes black for a few seconds.
Also tested identical setup with 4.15 and no issue here. Let me know if theres is anything i can do to help you identify the issue.
Edit: I had my colleague to test on another PC with Oculus runtime 1.15 and it worked fine, so it seems to be related to Oculus runtime 1.16
I ran a few tests with the project provided, however I was unable to reproduce this issue on our end. Could you download the zipped down version of the project provided and ensure that it still reproduces the issue? If it does, could you provide any additional steps that may be needed to reproduce this issue on our end?
After looking into the issue it appears that the 1.16 version of the Oculus app is not actually been Released (it was made available for public testing on June 3rd 2017). We recommend only using the latest release versions of the Oculus App.
I noticed that you have opened up a ticket with the Oculus support time (I have provided a link below).
If this issue still occurs after the official release of the 1.16 version of the Oculus app please feel free to reopen this issue with any additional information you may have and I will be happy to investigate further.
Hello Rudy, we 1.16 was officially released but the issue is still here and reported by more people now. Oculus told me that they are looking into it as well, but i assume you cooperate somehow.
