SF Bay Area production company looking for a dev to help us with a cool project. Great portfolio potential.
We’ve got a project for a major automobile manufacturer, and want to create a VR experience that allows us to show off the features of car. The exact feature list for the VR experience is yet to be fleshed out, in part because we want to allow the developer to have input and help shape the work we’re doing. We’re especially focused on render quality, but the overall experience needs to be really engaging. We’re hoping to have some long lines at a trade show with people eager to see this thing.
We prefer someone on-site, but would be willing to consider someone off-site. Right now we’re open to discussing Unreal vs. Unity, and Vive vs. Oculus, but we will soon be narrowing down our focus as we make some of those initial decisions (with developer input) and start communicating our vision to the client.
If you do send an email, please be ready to show amazing looking renders. Product renders in particular, and interesting lighting effects, would be great. Please send samples and rate to my email. jw [at] wearexyz (dot] com
