VR Pawn spawns without hands and with wrong rotation on Quest 2

Hi

I’m building a game/VR experience for Oculus/Meta Quest 2 using the VR Template in UE 5.0. When packaging the project and loading in to my Quest 2 the VR pawn spawns to high above ground and in 90 degrees wrong rotation. The hands/motion controllers are not visible and the widget menu that comes with the template appears above and behind me in the scene. Also the input control works for my left controller, moving forward/backward and left/right but the right controller doesn’t work as it supposed, in fact it doesn’t seem to work at all in the scene.
I’ve gone through my VR pawn BP hundred times as well as the VRGame mode and also checked the Level BP but cant find anything that can fix the problem.
If anyone has any idea on what the problem could be here I would be most grateful, I’m about to loose my mind over this weird problem.

I’d be happy to share screenshots of whatever is necessary! I’m working with blueprints.
