VR Headset for Interactive Archviz Project.

Hello everyone, I hope this is the best section to ask this question.

So i’m working on an interactive archviz experience and i want to purchase a VR Headset that can help me develop this for VR and be stable. I’d love to hear some suggestion.

This is the project and it uses lumen for lighting .

My PC configuration is CPU Ryzen 5 5600x RAM 32GB GPU RTX 3060 12GB.

I’m open to all suggestions and Thank you .

I am using a PICO headset which I like. However, most tutorials and documentations only talk about Meta Quests and a lot of the time settings and how-to-do-stuff differs between the headsets so I have to figure stuff out on my own.

So maybe if you have never used VR before, a Meta headset might be the way to go.

Lumen in a VR project has not been a hit so far. It is really heavy and requires a lot of optimization to get a decent frame rate. Overall, dynamic lightning and shadows are very performance heavy in VR so you might need to make a lot of changes.
But I would love to see how it works out for you.

Thank for your suggestion, I think I don’t have a good knowledge to make a good optimization to make it work, but probably I will see what i can do. But have you tested like pixelstreaming with the vr headset ? Would that be a good solution to bypass those limitations ?

If your are planning to buying VR - Meta quest 3 is the best option.

most of my researchs are leading to it, Thanks
