VR hands pointing animation

I’ve set up the standard VR template with new hands which have extra poses/animations. Can anyone tell me the steps to apply a new animation to a hand on motion controller button press? I’ve tried adding “Input Point” and the “Play animation” with “handmesh” as a reference, but no luck. The grip hold animation that came with the standard template works fine, but I’d like to add other poses like pointing.

You will have to make changes to the hand animation blueprint to add new animations and pose.
