VR game development with Vive Motion tracker not Virtual Production

Hey I’m trying to connect and Vive Motion tracker to an external flame sword like project in unreal engine with openXr Vive but my Vive trackers doesn’t update the position when it is connected to a mesh and scouring through internet I came across livelink but idk how it can be used other than inEditor I need an better option and reference as none is available is there any option available and any way is it even remotely possible to connect them and I can take out in packaging

It should work with the stock OpenXR plugins at least. It is a bit tricky to get working. You need to set tracker roles in SteamVR and match those with the motion sources in the Motion Controller Components:
