VR features for non-VR games?

Hello,

in VR games you controll the weapon (sword) with the input of the VR set for it, but could I replicate the same for a non-vr game and instead of the VR input (joystick) could I use the mouse?

SO could I just open a VR game in unreal and then copy the blueprints for the attack movement into a non-VR game?

Also, do you know how to create a realistic inventory? I don’t want a UI that opens when you hit a key. I want for example to have a seath next to your hip and you can drag your sword towards it to seathe it or grab the sword in its seath to unseath it. Also I would like to have other slots for other types of items, such as a bag for food. Any idea on how to do this?
