VoxelWeaver - A Voxel Plugin for GPU-Accelerated Biomes, Caves, and Infinite Worlds

Hey there! I’m releasing a GPU-Accellerated Voxel Plugin to the Unreal Marketplace this January and want to get feedback on 1) how it looks and 2) if you would like to try it!

[VoxelWeaver YouTube Showcase]

Key Features:

  • Runtime World Editing & Destruction: Seamlessly edit, build, and destroy worlds in real-time, all powered by GPU acceleration.
  • Effortless Biomes & Underground Generation: Generate stunning caves, biomes, and underground environments with ease.
  • Visual Node Graphs: Control world generation and biomes with intuitive, no-code visual tools.
  • Advanced Foliage Scattering: Procedurally scatter foliage on walls, ceilings, and terrain with precision.
  • Robust Saving System: Save and load world edits, foliage, texture painting, and more—both at runtime and in the editor.
  • Infinite Worlds, Limitless Possibilities: Create massive, scalable worlds of any size with no boundaries.
  • Texture Painting: Add rich detail with texture painting in the editor or during runtime.
  • Integrated Collision and Navmesh Support: Ensure seamless interactions with collision and navigation systems built-in.
  • Planetary Worlds: Go beyond flat landscapes—design spherical worlds and planets with ease.
  • Fully Transformable Worlds: Rotate, scale, and translate entire worlds directly in your levels.
  • Comprehensive Starter Content: Kickstart your creativity with example maps, materials, biomes, and triplanar texture mapping.

So I need to know if you will support the ability to upsize or downsize the voxels. For instance, Minecraft cubes are like 3’ cubes and I want to reduce their size to about 3 inches relative to my other voxel models. I want to be able to increase or decrease their sizes as needed.
also, I wanted to know if you will incorporate a simple voxel animation import process seeing as how right now you have to make your computer stand up and do a riverdance to import anything in voxel format that moves.

This Looks very nice and i want to know more.

Will this get an update to become compatible with UE5.7

Hello @TheWorm141 !

I love to see new world generation plugins make their way into the development world itself. From what I can see so far, it looks like you’ve put a lot of work and thought into this specific plugin!

I’ve not used many other plugins in my UE work, but I was curious if you’re able to customize elements for the generation, such as plants and other items, to proceduarlly appear?

Looks great – can’t wait to check this out!

Keep up the amazing work!
