The DodgeJump System adds responsive dodge jump mechanics to your Unreal Engine 5 project. Players can dodge jump in 8 directions, transition into prone, and interact with the environment.

Prone Crawl :

  • 8-Direction Movement – Fully responsive crawling in all eight directions with smooth directional blending.

  • Camera-Aligned Rotation – The player’s movement follows the camera direction for a natural feel.

  • Edge Detection – Prevents the player from falling off ledges while prone or crawling.

  • Surface Alignment – The character dynamically aligns sloped surfaces for maintaining body positioning.

  • Obstacle Detection – Collision checks prevent the player’s from clipping into walls or environmental objects.

  • Turn In Place – Seamless turning in all directions while prone for precise control in tight areas.
