Vive VR controller 1frame late


I’m in need of scaling the player in VR using the grip buttons of the Motioncontrollers (HTC Vive), as in the Unreal VREditor. Problem: The MotionControllerComponent transform updates one frame to late. You can see the same result I get in the Unreal VREditor.

  1. Open any project
  2. Go into Unreal VR Editor
  3. Press GripButtons on both controllers
  4. See controllers laggin behind

For a quick scaling setup I did:

This results in the same effect, controllers are one frame to late.

EDIT: Not occuring with Oculus Rift, only HTC Vive
