Hi guys, Virtus here, we run a youtube channel focused on game design, with over 54,000 subscribers, and we will be holding our first ever game jam this coming monday, on the 4th of september, and we would love for everyone else to take part in it too!
The theme will be announced on the start date which is the 4th september, and will run until the end of the month, with the deadline for submissions being the 30th of september. The theme will be released in the coming game jam video which will be posted to Virtus’ channel, we think this will be a great opportunity for people to learn, bond and make new friends, in a friendly and creative competition, the Virtus community welcomes all!
Participants will be required to register, and can do so alone, or in a team of up to 3 members max, including yourself. The theme will be left relatively unspecific, so it is up to you as the individual to define what it means to you or your group and present it in a game.
**Although we don’t have much in the way of huge prizes, we have a few things set for the winners which we think they will enjoy and undoubtedly deserve ranging from a featured video on our channel to . Lastly we want to extend a warm welcome anyone who decides to take part but is not yet part of the discord community, there will be many people on the discord server giving out help to those who need it! **
We recently posted about the opening of my community discord channel, since then over 400 members have joined, and people are constantly helping and giving advice to others, so if you are taking part in the jam, you may find all the help you need on our community discord server.

We’ve partnered up with Crowdforge to help you find new team members or join existing team that could do with skills like yours.
Submissions will handled through Itch.io, don’t forget the deadline which is the 31st of September, but most importantly…. Have fun!
