Been experimenting trying to find a good workflow for converting alpha-masked tree assets to pure geo meshes to get around the nanite issues – turns out adding a 2x subdivision surface modifier in Blender to the leaf cards kinda worked out all right…
Hello @LTowers95 ! Welcome back to posting with us here on the forums!
Watching through this reminds me of a similar magnolia park that I visited once in real life. Your attention to all the details is truly magnificent. It’s very subtle, but seeing the petals in more than just the main pathway was a great touch!
Keep up the awesome work!
@The_M0ss_Man Thank you so much!
Hey again @LTowers95,
So nice to see your work again! Hope you’ve been well and enjoyed the holiday break
I desperately needed a bit of spring time this week with the cold being so insistent on sticking around. This hit that perfectly. Especially with how gosh darn stunning Sakura trees are. Thank you for bringing a bit of springtime magic to our forums
Can’t wait to see what your next project is!
@PresumptivePanda Thank you!
Hi @LTowers95, I loved seeing this video, it actually looks amazing.
As I am really just a beginner in 3d Modelling/Texturing etc, and UE5 itself, i would really love some advice where can i find some kind of courses on all these stuff, as when i’m trying to do something in blender, for example, except for some really basic actions mostly i feel realy confused and lost, and ig i really need someone to teach me the basics on how all this stuff works.
Thans for your attention, am waiting for your response.
