Virtual Museum Experience of Titanic's sister ship, Britannic

Hey everybody,

My team and I just launched our first STEAM project, titled “Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean”. Britannic was the younger sister of the infamous RMS Titanic, converted into a hospital ship for the First World War, struck a mine, and sank without ever once carrying a paying passenger.

This is what we’re calling a virtual museum experience. For about the price of a museum ticket, you can explore this ship as both the hospital ship she was and the ocean liner she should have been. When you’re done that, experience the ship’s sinking in real-time in our faithfully recreated sinking sequence.

Authenticity was our priority. What you see is what happened. We’ve been working with historians, archivists, and archaeologists to ensure that this piece is educational and intriguing, bringing the ship back to life like never before. Available in VR and non-VR formats.

Check it out on STEAM if you like history and steamships!
