does Virtual Heightfield Mesh work vertex displacement? and also, can we combine virtual heightfield mesh with nanite and instancing?
It displaces in the z-axis of the mesh, the resolution of which is determined by the settings in your height RVT.
Unsure about the 2nd question. I know nanite is coming to landscapes but unsure if there is any carry-over to the heightmesh, although I can’t see that there would be. The heightmess is a subdividing surface in its own right so adding nanite might not be worthwhile (IMHO).
As for instancing, what do you mean? unsure I follow.
